Anna's brother Brad lives in Genola and invited us to the Big Rodeo. Here are all the kids getting ready for the candy run. They all line up and then run into the middle of the arena and gather as much candy as they can.
Daphne did an amazing job. We trained her well. She came back with all the chocolate candy bars. Our niece came back with all the taffy.
Ryker was just along for the ride. He was helping everyone else around him fill up their cowboy hats with candy.

Our niece Mckaylee participated in the Mutton Busting and won 3rd place in her age group. Daphne and Ryker LOVED watching all the sheep.

ReplyDeleteWell I feel like an idiot! I just saw a post on FB and started to cry. I just read your entire blog and got caught up with what has been happening in your life. I am so sorry that this has been layed on you, it couldn't of happened to a nicer person. I know what an amazing attitude you have and know you will beat this cancer. I love that your sweet husband shaved your head. I love that you are so strong and are taking everything so well.
ReplyDeleteAfter college I taught school for a few years and was getting burned out. I quit and two weeks later my grandma started chem for stage 3 colon cancer. I was her personal nurse. I went to every Doctor appt and treatment. Please know you can call and vent/talk to me about anything. I think I've about seen it all. I would love to help with any advice I can. It's funny I was thinking about Adrienne and you the other day. I came across graduation pics of the three of us. I think the world of you and will call you tomorrow. You are in my prayers.
